In 1988, RHCP were scheduled to make an appearance at a TINY bar right off campus at my school - University of Maryland. Only Flea & Anthony showed up. I'll never forget being scandalized when Anthony said he could smell the "p###y" in the room -- a word to this day that I still can't bring myself to say or write unless talking about kitties. He basically gave his shocker line & left. The crowd (only about 50 people) went crazy. I was speechless and I knew I'd never forget it. Thanks again for the links.
